Responsibilities
- Design and build CoLab’s simulation review capabilities.
- Build services that ingest and process simulation data from industry-standard engineering software.
- Develop high-performance visualization experiences for large simulation datasets.
- Partner with Product, Design, customers, and the Engineering Reviews team to validate ideas and understand customer workflows.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for the new Simulation product area.
- Improve performance, scalability, and reliability as simulation capabilities grow.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate simulation into the broader CoLab experience.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building production software in a modern engineering environment.
- Strong experience designing scalable backend systems and customer-facing applications.
- Experience building complex data visualization or graphics-intensive applications.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with teammates.
- Product mindset focused on customer outcomes as well as technical implementation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
- Experience with FEA, CFD, or other CAE workflows is preferred.
- Experience with engineering simulation platforms is preferred.
- Experience with CAD, PLM, or engineering software development is preferred.
- Experience working with large engineering datasets and high-performance rendering is preferred.
