Salesforce Technical Architect
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions and identify opportunities to embed Agentforce autonomous AI capabilities.
- Design and integrate scalable predictive and generative AI solutions within custom Salesforce environments while optimizing performance, resource consumption, and governor limits.
- Lead technical design sessions, document architecture, identify gaps between current and desired states, and use LLMs to review assumptions and simulate edge cases.
- Provide technical oversight and governance for Salesforce projects and help define coding standards and delivery methodologies.
- Lead code reviews and manage technical delivery for custom development, integrations, and data migration.
- Develop AI performance and ROI evaluation frameworks with customers.
- Debug project issues, interpret system logs, and isolate performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in pre-sales discovery, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development when needed.
- Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations and travel to client sites an estimated 50–75%.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent proven experience is required.
- 9–14 years of CRM experience, including a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform.
- Expert understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds, plus Agentforce architecture.
- Experience designing scalable, performance-driven systems and understanding architecture, design patterns, large data volume limitations, data sharing, and visibility.
- Familiarity with SAML, SSO, OAuth, ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, REST API integrations, environment management, release management, version control, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce platform security capabilities including TLS and SSL.
- Practical fluency with AI coding assistants and modern development ecosystems such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude.
- Expert experience defining system architecture landscapes, identifying current-to-target-state gaps, and delivering solutions aligned with business outcomes.
- Strong background designing or developing large web-based systems or exposure to the complete software product lifecycle.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain relevant certifications after hire.
