Responsibilities
- Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems from requirements through production and deployment.
- Develop, code, test, debug, and optimize system software and real-time control software.
- Analyze and improve the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend teams to build user-friendly interfaces and improve API designs.
- Integrate frontend technologies and optimize performance, developer experience, CI/CD, and testing.
- Design, provision, configure, and maintain secure, scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure as code.
- Work with software engineering teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirements and maintain configuration compliance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of development experience in C and C++.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with one or more modern systems languages, such as Python, Java, VHDL, Verilog, Go, or Rust.
- Strong foundation in networking concepts and Linux system administration is preferred.
- Experience with Xilinx FPGA and Embedded Cortex CPU architectures is preferred.
- Experience with drone control software such as ArduPilot or PX4 is preferred.
- Professional frontend/UI development experience and expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript are preferred.
- Experience building UI applications with React is preferred.
- Experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure, including VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CodeBuild, S3, and RDS, is preferred.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
