Responsibilities
- Enhance existing software applications and occasionally suggest architecture improvements.
- Develop and design reports involving SQL-based data fetching, processing, and representation.
- Gather requirements, understand project scope, estimate work, and plan and execute tasks.
- Handle client calls and collaborate with stakeholders to meet requirements.
- Participate in component-level technical design discussions.
- Debug software, document root causes, and record resolutions.
- Suggest team-level process improvements supporting operations and the development ecosystem.
- Provide support for software releases.
- Develop an understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model.
- Work the stated 9 AM–6 PM shift and additional or irregular hours as needed and permitted by local regulations.
- Follow corporate and organizational security policies and protect corporate and client assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, database management systems, programming, debugging, Git, unit testing, and data analysis.
- Programming experience with languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Business Object, Power Insight, or DA2 are preferred.
- Knowledge of CCL and healthcare workflows is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, attention to detail, adaptability, time management, continuous learning, and basic peer mentorship skills.
