Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery calls covering AI/ML architectures, use cases, API integration, model requirements, data residency, and compliance.
- Develop customized product demonstrations and manage proof-of-concept environments for prospects.
- Partner with account executives throughout the sales cycle, including proposals, technical questions, customer meetings, QBRs, and executive briefings.
- Address technical objections, competitive positioning, technical terms, SLAs, and implementation timelines.
- Provide Product and Engineering feedback on feature requests, competitive gaps, and market requirements.
- Support technical onboarding, adoption, account health, and identification of technical blockers for APAC customers.
- Assist with customer technical issues through hands-on API and code-level debugging and minimal reproductions, coordinating with US-based Support and Engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Customer Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect in B2B SaaS, API, or infrastructure platforms.
- Hands-on experience with software development, APIs, or cloud infrastructure, including reading and debugging code and troubleshooting API integrations.
- Strong presentation, problem-solving, and solution-architecture skills for varied technical audiences.
- Customer-first approach and willingness to support pre-sales, technical adoption, account health, and initial support responsibilities.
- Ability to work autonomously as a foundational regional contributor and maintain flexible overlap with US-based colleagues.
- Experience in sales engineering related to AI/ML technologies, LLMs, or machine learning platforms is preferred.
