Build the detection, enforcement, review, and monitoring systems that protect OpenRouter from abuse, fraud, malicious users, and illegal content. This hands-on role spans inference, payments, internal tooling, and data systems in a rapidly evolving AI infrastructure environment.

OpenRouter is seeking a customer-facing Solutions Architect to lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, proofs of concept, and enterprise integrations for LLM infrastructure. The role partners closely with sales, product, engineering, and customer teams to turn complex AI infrastructure needs into successful technical outcomes.

Serve as the technical anchor for OpenRouter’s largest enterprise customers, investigating API, infrastructure, and upstream model issues. You’ll debug customer applications, manage incident resolution, improve support tooling and documentation, and translate technical findings for customers and internal teams.

Build production-grade agentic workflows and internal tooling that automate OpenRouter’s support or go-to-market operations. This role combines backend engineering, LLM application development, reliability, security, and measurable operational impact.

Help customers integrate and scale OpenRouter in production by solving complex technical implementation and inference optimization challenges. You’ll work hands-on with developers while shaping customer adoption, reusable technical guidance, and product feedback.

Build customer-facing dashboards, billing, analytics, onboarding, and other platform features for OpenRouter’s Product team. You’ll own product work end to end while shaping product decisions and improving frontend and backend performance.

Own and scale the infrastructure, datastores, and operational systems that route millions of LLM requests for OpenRouter. This hands-on platform role offers broad ownership across cloud, edge, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
