Build the developer-facing products that make OpenRouter easy to integrate, including its public API, TypeScript and Python SDKs, Agent SDK, documentation, CLI, and other tooling. You’ll help shape how developers and AI coding agents interact with the platform.

Build and own OpenRouter’s financial infrastructure for metering, pricing, billing, payments, payouts, and ledger management across high-volume AI usage. This is a foundational engineering role focused on making every token and dollar traceable, accurate, and auditable.

Build and own OpenRouter’s identity platform, defining how users, organizations, apps, agents, and workloads authenticate and access AI infrastructure. This foundational role combines identity security, authorization, enterprise provisioning, and high-availability systems design.

Own the reliability of OpenRouter’s AI provider network, ensuring endpoints remain fast, correct, and available across massive request volumes. Build observability, automated failover, regression detection, and operational tooling for LLM inference providers.

Build the detection, enforcement, review, and monitoring systems that protect OpenRouter from abuse, fraud, malicious users, and illegal content. This hands-on role spans inference, payments, internal tooling, and data systems in a rapidly evolving AI infrastructure environment.

OpenRouter is seeking a customer-facing Solutions Architect to lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, proofs of concept, and enterprise integrations for LLM infrastructure. The role partners closely with sales, product, engineering, and customer teams to turn complex AI infrastructure needs into successful technical outcomes.

Help customers integrate and scale OpenRouter in production by solving complex technical implementation and inference optimization challenges. You’ll work hands-on with developers while shaping customer adoption, reusable technical guidance, and product feedback.
