Base Salary
$215k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve edge and cloud infrastructure across Cloudflare, Google Cloud, and Vercel.
- Scale and operate the data layer including Spanner, ClickHouse, and Postgres.
- Optimize performance for LLM inference as traffic increases.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership on capacity, reliability, and cost management.
- Establish operational standards and tooling as the team grows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production infrastructure.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Deep expertise in operating large scale databases such as Postgres and Spanner.
- Ability to work across the stack in a full-stack TypeScript environment.
- High agency and a proactive approach to identifying and solving bottlenecks.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a pragmatic approach to tradeoffs.
