Base Salary
$215k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the public REST API, including API design, ergonomics, versioning, errors, and rate-limiting behavior.
- Build and maintain client SDKs across TypeScript and Python and lead upcoming SDK launches.
- Ship and expand the Agent SDK for multi-step, agentic workloads.
- Develop and improve documentation, examples, starter repositories, and other developer-facing entry points.
- Make APIs and SDKs friendly for AI coding agents.
- Collaborate with Developer Relations, Product, and Platform teams to identify and address developer ecosystem gaps end to end.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building external-facing developer products such as APIs, SDKs, or developer platforms widely used by engineers.
- Strong API and SDK design skills, including experience shipping libraries that developers integrate with.
- Strong TypeScript skills.
- Interest in agentic systems and an AI-forward workflow.
- Ability to independently own a product line and act with high agency in a small-company environment.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation, changelogs, and SDK reference materials.
- Pragmatic judgment regarding tradeoffs between speed and simplicity.
- Preferred: experience at developer-centric companies, hands-on experience with agent SDKs or agentic developer tooling, or contributions to open-source and AI tooling projects.
