Base Salary
$153k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable server-side platform components and developer tools for other developers.
- Write Rust and Go code with a focus on reliability, quality, and durability.
- Contribute to feature design, development, and release.
- Document technical solutions and new designs.
- Review code submissions and design documents and provide timely feedback.
- Uphold and improve team processes.
- Mentor and coach teammates.
- Work on platform services spanning public key verification, identity, and confidential computing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
- At least 1 year of experience shipping production Rust code.
- Experience writing idiomatic asynchronous Rust in the Tokio and Tower ecosystems.
- Experience with Go, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, databases, and other cloud technologies.
- Solid understanding of HTTP, TCP, vsock, and service meshes.
- Ability to carry projects forward autonomously and collaborate clearly across teams.
- Interest in security, privacy, and cryptography, with a thoughtful approach to quality, detail, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
