Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of cloud-native backend solutions for an automotive IoT ecosystem.
- Drive the technical roadmap and implement core functionalities for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Architect scalable microservices using containers, serverless functions, APIs, and event streaming.
- Design and build prototypes and MVPs for near-vehicle services.
- Own product cycles, including hardware-in-the-loop validation with embedded systems.
- Mentor cross-functional teams on backend engineering practices and IoT tooling.
- Bridge electrical engineering, IT infrastructure, and end-user needs to solve technical challenges.
- Promote process optimization and adoption of emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable job expertise.
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Deep expertise in Java/Kotlin backend development, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Advanced Spring Boot experience building and scaling enterprise applications.
- Advanced proficiency designing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and managing distributed microservice architectures.
- Knowledge of Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
- Expertise with Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, and MQTT for event streaming and messaging.
- Strong background integrating and optimizing PaaS and cloud-native paradigms.
- Agile and DevOps mindset.
- Very good written and spoken English.
