Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable frontend features, user interfaces, and gameplay experiences.
- Translate product and game design requirements into robust technical solutions and provide constructive feedback.
- Build clean, maintainable, well-tested software for reliable production operation.
- Own technical decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, planning, and retrospectives.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, real-time services, and event-driven backend systems.
- Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and maintainability.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing practices, technical guidance, and mentoring for less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Strong professional software engineering experience focused on frontend development and production-grade user-facing applications.
- Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Hands-on experience with WebGL-based rendering and animation frameworks, particularly PixiJS and GSAP.
- Understanding of component-based architecture, clean code, reusable UI patterns, and frontend design principles.
- Experience building and maintaining responsive, accessible, and performant web applications in production.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, browser APIs, state management, and modern frontend build tools.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end frontend testing.
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, debugging, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to independently own features from technical design through production and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to mentor engineers and support strong frontend engineering practices.
- Preferred experience includes game development, casino games, virtual sports, betting products, real-time entertainment systems, graphics, animation, canvas/WebGL, mobile-first development, accessibility, and scalable frontend architecture.
- Practical experience using AI tools for software development and evaluating AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
