Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain web applications that present AI model results to end users.
- Develop intuitive, high-performance interfaces and visualizations for large volumes of data and frequent updates.
- Develop and maintain backend services in Java and Python.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate model outputs into software applications.
- Work with end users to understand operational needs and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Write tested, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews and software quality.
- Deploy, operate, and maintain applications in a containerized environment.
Requirements
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- Solid experience with React, TypeScript, or a similar modern frontend stack.
- Experience building data-heavy or real-time web applications and understanding rendering performance.
- Experience developing backend services in Java and/or Python.
- Experience working with containerized applications using Docker.
- Structured approach to software development with a focus on clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with MapLibre, Mapbox, Kafka, Kubernetes, or machine learning applications is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to obtain security clearance by the Danish Defense Intelligence Service, including meeting the stated NATO/EU/MISWG residence and criminal-record conditions.
