Responsibilities
- Architect and develop responsive, high-performance web and Android applications for monitoring and controlling robotic fleets.
- Render large-scale maps, point clouds, telemetry, and real-time 3D environments in browsers and on mobile devices.
- Build resilient data synchronization layers for network-denied and intermittently connected environments.
- Develop full-stack functionality with emphasis on TypeScript and JavaScript frontend logic and integrations with backend services and robotic APIs.
- Profile and optimize rendering pipelines and application logic across workstations and mobile field devices.
- Collaborate with robotics researchers, machine learning engineers, and infrastructure teams on APIs and real-time visualization data formats.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with React and modern frontend development.
- Understanding of backend development principles and database design and management.
- Experience with Docker-based containerization and familiarity with CI/CD principles.
- Basic understanding of cloud services.
- Proven experience building and shipping complex user-facing products at scale is preferred.
- Android application development experience is preferred.
- Graphics or gaming experience with 3D geometry and high-frame-rate visualization is preferred.
- Experience with indoor mapping, spatial data structures, and offline-first architecture is preferred.
