Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, extend, and test NVIDIA’s internal object storage system.
- Develop storage capabilities for NVIDIA research teams and other users.
- Improve deployment availability, reliability, fault tolerance, and performance across 10,000+ nodes and exabytes of data.
- Automate storage infrastructure provisioning, management, and monitoring end to end.
- Own product delivery from inception through support.
- Contribute upstream to open-source storage codebases.
Requirements
- Track record developing object storage services and understanding data availability, durability, and fault-tolerance strategies.
- Experience developing distributed systems with Python, Go, C, C++, or similar languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong architecture, system design, communication, presentation, and product-ownership skills.
- Preferred: experience delivering major distributed storage components deployed at exabyte scale.
- Preferred: strong knowledge of concurrency models and primitives, including threads, event loops, and distributed locking.
- Preferred: experience building cloud storage or data services and making sustained open-source contributions.
