Responsibilities
- Develop features across application submodules, collaborating on requirements, prototyping, design, coding, testing, debugging, estimation, deployment, and quality improvement.
- Design, develop, and manage automated unit and acceptance tests.
- Drive architecture and design for robust, efficient mobile, UI, and platform systems.
- Develop mobile and UI applications, including legacy-system parity and migration from ExtJS to newer platforms.
- Define service descriptions and quality measures while delivering reliable, self-healing services requiring minimal manual intervention.
- Identify and mitigate technical challenges early in the development lifecycle.
- Represent product and portfolio vision, functional roadmaps, and technical roadmaps within the company and with strategic customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM, with 14–16 years of software development experience.
- Experience progressing from Software Engineer to Lead Software Engineer and architect, including at least the last five years in architect-level work.
- Full-stack experience with ReactJS for frontend development and hands-on enterprise Java backend development.
- Mobile application experience with React Native and/or native Android or iOS development.
- Demonstrated experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and designing, building, deploying, and maintaining enterprise cloud solutions in Azure.
- Experience building microservices-based cloud architectures at scale.
- Experience implementing event-driven architecture using Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on software development combined with architecture and design experience.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, distributed microservices, multi-tenant SaaS, scalability, performance, and high availability.
- Experience with API management platforms and providing or consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Spring Boot, OAuth, REST, GraphQL, Hibernate, NoSQL, RDBMS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and React.
- Experience with DevOps, infrastructure as code, and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of secure architectures, secure configuration, and identity management.
