Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, and troubleshoot software components for secure, stable, and scalable applications.
- Write high-quality, secure code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating generated outputs.
- Consider upstream and downstream system dependencies and technical implications when developing solutions.
- Apply technical troubleshooting to solve problems of basic complexity.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle processes, methodologies, and skills.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database query languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies, AWS certification, and exposure to cloud technologies.
