Responsibilities
- Own components of project work and deliverables with guidance from an assigned mentor and manager.
- Conduct research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations for business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Support initiatives that improve business outcomes and member and client experiences.
- Learn and apply organizational processes, programs, and technologies.
- Deliver a final internship presentation covering the project, results, and recommendations.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably as a rising senior majoring in computer science, information technology, or information systems; other majors may be considered.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Available for the full ten-week internship program.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaborative, and continuous-learning skills.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, MVC, CSS, Angular, React, Spring Boot, GitHub, and/or data analytics is preferred.
- Exposure to Hadoop, Pig, Talend, Copilot, or similar tools is preferred.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and comfort with virtual collaboration tools.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
