Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
- Perform batch and online development and execute SQL queries in Mainframe environments.
- Support and maintain business-critical applications and resolve production incidents by identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Participate in application development, maintenance, technological evolution, documentation, technical discussions, and continuous improvement.
- Work with Control-M or equivalent scheduling tools and collaborate with technical, functional, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Mainframe development experience.
- Experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, and batch and online development.
- Experience supporting and maintaining critical applications and managing production incidents.
- Participation in development and technology-evolution projects.
- Experience in banking or financial environments.
- Preferred qualifications include IMS DB, IMS DC, MQ Series, IBM MQ, Mainframe version-control tools, banking-process knowledge, and experience with payments, accounts, cards, credits, or risk-related processes.
