Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex technical and systems integration challenges and develop practical approaches.
  • Design, integrate, test, demonstrate, and operationalize software capabilities with developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and customers.
  • Evaluate technical solutions based on feasibility, risk, security, performance, integration complexity, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate implementation, testing, demonstrations, exercises, and operational deployment with development teams and contractors.
  • Evaluate CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated builds, testing, security scanning, artifact management, and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues using system behavior, data, logs, Linux tools, event-driven architectures, containers, and messaging technologies.
  • Support cybersecurity activities, security approvals, authorization activities, configuration, deployment, and operational environment setup.
  • Develop integration plans, test plans, procedures, technical documentation, findings, and recommendations.
  • Communicate technical issues, risks, solution options, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Own technical problems from initial identification through solution development, testing, integration, and operational implementation.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance or above.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in systems integration, software development, DevSecOps, systems engineering, software testing, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, software development lifecycles, CI/CD concepts, and automated build, test, security, and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience solving complex integration or technical problems with software developers and technical teams.
  • Ability to analyze ambiguous technical problems, develop potential approaches, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience coordinating technical testing and evaluating solutions against defined or evolving requirements.
  • Strong technical communication and ability to work with developers, engineers, cybersecurity personnel, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with Git or GitLab, source control, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Apache Kafka or similar messaging technologies, and Linux command-line troubleshooting.
  • Preferred experience includes federal or DoD technology programs, software integration through operational implementation, cybersecurity authorization, configuration management, deployment, distributed systems, integration testing, and technical demonstrations.
  • Preferred familiarity with APIs, services, data flows, distributed applications, Agile environments, Kotlin, Java, or similar programming languages.
