Base Salary
$73k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance, with a primary focus on frontend development.
- Design and implement frontend architectures and user interfaces that improve user experience and application performance.
- Develop product development roadmaps and provide frontend technical expertise to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components.
- Mentor junior frontend developers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Investigate and resolve moderately complex frontend issues and identify optimization opportunities.
- Stay current with frontend technologies and share relevant knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development or related roles is required.
- Demonstrated success delivering moderately complex frontend projects and willingness to work across the full stack are required.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular is required.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems is required.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
- Experience with frontend testing, REST APIs, containers, databases, DevSecOps tooling, data visualization, monitoring, and security practices is expected.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
- Preferred qualifications include an IT or security certification such as CompTIA Security+, WebAssembly experience, Electron or Tauri experience, and big data experience.
