Base Salary

$73k - $149k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, focusing primarily on frontend development from requirements through deployment and maintenance.
  • Develop frontend-focused product roadmaps and strategic vision.
  • Design and implement frontend architectures and user interfaces that improve user experience and application performance.
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate frontend and backend components and provide technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior frontend developers and conduct code reviews to maintain quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Investigate moderately complex frontend issues and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Stay current with frontend technologies and share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development or related roles is required.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering moderately complex frontend projects and working across the full stack is required.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular is required.
  • Experience with frontend development tools, libraries, and testing frameworks is required.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and frontend architecture principles is required.
  • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs, container orchestration, databases, DevSecOps tooling, monitoring, and security practices is required or expected.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems is required.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
  • Preferred qualifications include an IT security certification such as CompTIA Security+, WebAssembly experience, Electron or Tauri experience, and experience with big data technologies.

  • Full-time regular employment with a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in the Virginia office and the remainder at the Maryland office.
