Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-volume backend services using Go.
- Build integrations between complex client and vendor platforms.
- Work with transaction processing systems, APIs, event-driven platforms, distributed systems, and microservices-based solutions.
- Support technical integration, migration analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Help ensure the stability, reliability, and continuity of high-availability business-critical systems.
- Collaborate with client, vendor, and engineering teams throughout the migration programme.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Go/Golang.
- Proven experience designing and building complex backend systems.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven platforms such as Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of API design and system integrations.
- Experience with large-scale migration or integration programmes and cloud-native environments.
- Experience supporting high-volume, high-availability backend services and troubleshooting integrated systems.
- Experience in card payments, issuer processing, banking, fintech, transaction switching, payment infrastructure, or other transaction-heavy environments is valuable.
- Strong collaboration skills and confidence working with client and vendor teams.
