Base Salary
$119k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement new projects on the Amazon Connect platform.
- Extend infrastructure to new global regions and support existing contact center implementations.
- Improve data and systems operating at scale through monitoring, tooling, and operational processes.
- Analyze telecom platform problems, document and remediate urgent issues, and perform root-cause analysis for outages.
- Support day-to-day telecom platform operations and coordinate incident response with cross-functional teams.
- Prioritize requests from internal and external customers and provide consultative explanations and advice.
- Participate in after-hours releases and on-call rotation schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in telecom and IVR engineering and administration.
- Experience working in and supporting a contact center environment.
- Hands-on Amazon Connect experience with development, deployment, and support of CCP, contact flows, Lambda and scripting, S3 storage solutions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, queues, routing profiles, and agent administration.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools and experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Programming experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and Python, particularly with AWS services.
- Familiarity with JSON and other file formats, ITIL processes, and service desk ticket management applications.
- Ability to resolve complex issues efficiently and provide consultative explanations and advice to clients.
- Experience with the Amazon Connect chat channel is a plus.
