Responsibilities

  • Develop software using object-oriented programming languages on Windows or Linux.
  • Contribute to requirements definition, design, development, deployment, and customer support across the software project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deliver software for metrology, inspection, and data analytics products.
  • Debug software and apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to KLA and customer sites as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, software engineering, electronics, physics, automation, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of related work experience with a doctorate, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 8 years with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, PHP, Python, LabVIEW, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multithreaded programming, object-oriented analysis and design, and programming.
  • Preferred knowledge of networking, database management, architecture, design patterns, automated unit testing, and software development processes.
  • Strong software debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and English-language skills.
