Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable and maintainable software solutions for business, platform, and technology capabilities.
- Define software requirements and solution strategies with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Lead multiple engineering teams or guide technical direction, assignments, and less experienced specialists.
- Conduct code reviews, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to technology communities.
- Implement secure coding and unit testing practices to improve software reliability and protect sensitive data.
- Advise stakeholders, manage risks and controls, and develop solutions through complex analysis and research.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
- Experience with React, Angular, or other modern UI frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar container platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple Agile engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with cloud-aligned engineering and enterprise integration is highly valued.
- Exposure to US Payments, including ACH and wire flows, is highly valued.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is highly valued.
