Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Lead multiple engineering teams and guide technical direction, team members, and less experienced specialists.
- Conduct code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and effective unit testing.
- Manage and mitigate risks, strengthen controls, and advise stakeholders on technical and cross-functional impacts.
- Contribute to strategic, multi-year assignments and continuous technology improvements.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Experience with React, Angular, or modern user-interface frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar container platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple Agile engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with cloud-aligned engineering and enterprise integration is highly valued.
- Exposure to US Payments, including ACH and wire flows, processing behaviors, and operational nuances, is highly valued.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is highly valued.
