Base Salary
$260k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build production systems end-to-end across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and data models.
- Develop new vertical product capabilities involving document ingestion and workflow orchestration.
- Build and operate data-intensive systems, including ETL pipelines and analytical data models.
- Define service boundaries, schema design, and system architecture for new product areas.
- Ship customer-facing features quickly and harden them for scale through observability and performance tuning.
- Partner directly with customers to understand workflows and iterate on technical designs.
- Build evaluation and monitoring systems to measure product quality in production.
- Contribute reusable platform patterns and internal tools for scalability across customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production software.
- Strong engineering fundamentals across backend systems, APIs, and data modeling.
- Experience building full-stack products, not just isolated services or UI layers.
- Experience with data pipelines, analytical systems, or document-heavy workflows.
- Experience building AI-powered or workflow-driven applications.
- Comfort working across a broad technical surface area, including application code and infrastructure.
- Ability to debug and improve complex production systems using logs and metrics.
- Strong product sense and ability to translate ambiguous needs into technical designs.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
