Base Salary

$68k - $193k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop device-side code supporting two hardware-testing areas.
  • Collaborate with local and remote team members and other Ford groups to understand products, software architecture, and implementation.
  • Apply Design Thinking and User Experience methods to deliver innovative products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience with hardware or embedded software systems; internships and coursework are allowed.
  • Development experience with C and a clear understanding of writing time-critical software.
  • Preferred experience includes QNX, Linux, multithreaded programming, C++, object-oriented programming and design patterns, SPI, UART, I2C, Ethernet or other networking protocols, and Python or other scripting languages.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-oriented environment.
