Base Salary
$68k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop device-side software in support of hardware testing.
- Write time-critical embedded software using C.
- Collaborate with local and remote team members and Ford groups on products, software architecture, and implementation.
- Apply software development and user-focused methods to deliver mobility products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- At least 6 months of experience with hardware or embedded software systems; internships and coursework are allowed.
- Development experience with C.
- Clear understanding of writing time-critical software.
- Preferred experience with QNX and/or Linux, multithreaded programming, C++, object-oriented programming, Python or other scripting languages, and SPI, UART, I2C, Ethernet, or other networking protocols.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
