Sr Software Engineer
Mercado LibreResponsibilities
- Design and maintain monitoring, validation, and governance solutions for backend LLM platform services in production.
- Develop APIs and backend services in Python for training, evaluating, approving, and observing LLM behavior.
- Define and implement technical standards that improve the quality, stability, and sustainability of AI products and services.
- Support teams across the organization in securely and efficiently adopting platform capabilities.
- Contribute to the evolution of LLM Studio and the platform toward generative AI ecosystems and intelligent workflows.
Requirements
- Programming experience with Go, Java, or Python and version-control tools.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs using sound software architecture and testing practices for backend services.
- Experience with distributed and highly available environments.
- Knowledge of machine learning or experience working with ML systems in production.
- Experience or knowledge of infrastructure and deployment on Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
