Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of centralized cloud solutions for critical and strategic initiatives, including reference architectures and baseline implementations.
- Develop and promote enterprise standards, guardrails, and reusable implementation architectures.
- Design and implement secure abstraction layers and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for cloud deployment.
- Create, plan, and communicate technology roadmaps with management, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Consult with development teams on application modernization and business requirements, including AI-driven solutions.
- Mentor engineers and architects and collaborate with business partners on solution planning.
- Partner with Cyber Security and Risk teams to design controls and standards that support security policies and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 15+ years of technology experience, including 5+ years as a Cloud Architect.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering large-scale solutions in GCP and/or AWS, including application migrations.
- Advanced expertise in GCP and/or AWS, cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect, and experience managing data platforms including BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps, Cloud Build, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GenAI, RAG, and related frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, IAM, security models, and enterprise-scale distributed-system design.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or PHP and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience with Harness, Agent Development, security principles, and secure architecture concepts is preferred.
- Ability to present to and influence executives, collaborate across matrixed organizations, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and prioritization skills, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English and languages relevant to the working market where applicable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
