Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development teams delivering impactful, end-to-end solutions for complex client challenges.
- Shape architectural strategies across application, business, and integration domains.
- Advise FTSE 100 clients and senior stakeholders on complex challenges and translate technical insight into business value.
- Lead business development initiatives, including pre-sales, proposal development, client engagement, and new service propositions.
- Build and maintain trusted senior client relationships and long-term partnerships.
- Coach team members, share knowledge, and create opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading architecture and development teams and delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Strong understanding of the defence sector and experience in banking, insurance, payments, or wealth management.
- Ability to shape and communicate architectural strategies across multiple domains.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Track record of contributing to business development, pre-sales, proposal development, and client engagement.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks and modelling tools such as UML and ArchiMate.
- Awareness of emerging trends and technologies.
- Established network of senior stakeholders within a specialist sector and ability to expand those relationships.
