Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and kill-chain analysis across Stripe systems and external data.
- Apply and enrich the FT3 taxonomy across datasets and incidents, including targeted API endpoints.
- Integrate, curate, and automate threat intelligence feeds into engineering workflows.
- Translate research into threat advisories and strategic policy, technical, support, and detection controls.
- Build and use agentic automated testing and adversary simulation workflows to validate controls and generate regression scenarios.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence, threat hunting, or technical incident response within cybersecurity, product abuse, or trust domains.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing complex datasets with data analytics tools to identify anomalies, behavioral trends, and fraud patterns.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Expert proficiency in Python and SQL, including scripting for workflow automation, investigative tools, or big-data queries.
- Hands-on experience with log analysis, digital forensics, and cyber investigation methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical research into actionable recommendations.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of financial-fraud threat actors and TTPs, FT3 or MITRE ATT&CK, Databricks, Trino, PySpark, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, threat intelligence platforms, OSINT, breach intelligence, and agentic LLM or automated control-validation tools.
