Responsibilities

  • Own a project from coding and testing through production deployment and presentation.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and take responsibility for the quality of shipped work.
  • Build knowledge of supported systems and users and contribute to product discussions.
  • Debug issues, follow escalation procedures, and prioritize quality for high-stakes users.
  • Collaborate through code reviews, pair programming, design reviews, and technical documentation.
  • Depending on team placement, work on document retrieval, AI interfaces, multi-region infrastructure, enterprise agents, secure client-data systems, or frontier model evaluation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with graduation in December 2027 or later.
  • Previous internship experience is required.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more of Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, or a similar language, plus solid computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience building something from start to finish through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted development tools and interest in incorporating LLMs into development workflows.
  • Internship experience at an early-stage startup is preferred.
  • Able to work from the New York or San Francisco office during the summer cohort.

Benefits

  • 12- or 16-week summer internship in New York or San Francisco.
  • Relocation support is available.
  • Pay is $62/hr-$72/hr in San Francisco and New York.
