Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize the technical vision and long-term architecture strategy for the domain.
- Decompose complex problems into practical, operational, and scalable solutions.
- Drive modernization of monolithic systems into microservice architectures and event-driven platforms.
- Design architecture for a multi-tenant payment platform supporting batch and real-time settlement and integration with payment networks.
- Establish API standards, coding standards, design standards, and technical best practices.
- Ensure technical design, implementation, performance, scalability, operability, and code quality.
- Contribute hands-on to critical application repositories and conduct code reviews.
- Lead cross-divisional projects and architectural reviews.
- Mentor engineers, coach technical teams, and support professional development.
- Create technical communications, code samples, blog posts, and knowledge-sharing materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Preferred 10+ years of experience with software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, mobile architecture, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred 10+ years of professional coding experience with commonly used languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
- Preferred 8+ years of experience with databases and database management systems.
- Preferred 10+ years of experience across the full system development lifecycle.
- Preferred 5+ years with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred 10+ years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed-system integrations.
- Preferred 5+ years mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development within technical teams.
- Preferred 2+ years leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding and design standards.
- Expertise in strategically applying agentic AI coding tools and understanding of payment networks and transaction types.
