Base Salary

$243k - $295k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build highly scalable and reliable distributed backend systems for Creator Service Translation.
  • Own the localization pipeline for content detection, translation, serving, and rendering across text, images, audio, and other media.
  • Expand language families and locales, support real-time localization, enrich translation media types, and improve translation quality.
  • Solve full-stack problems involving clients, game engines, backend services, and machine learning models.
  • Own product areas and projects from technical design and execution through launch and rapid iteration based on feedback.
  • Collaborate with product, design, partner teams, and the creator community to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional experience designing and leading implementation of highly scalable and reliable distributed backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices.
  • Proficiency in one or more of C#, C++, Go, Python, or a similar programming language.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong interest in applying industry trends and new technologies to practical problems.
  • Deep understanding of C++, familiarity with game engines, and familiarity with machine learning are preferred or advantageous.
