Responsibilities
- Architect, refine, and scale complex backend systems using Python.
- Optimize application speed, scalability, performance, durability, and resource allocation.
- Develop approaches for managing high concurrency and large data volumes.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate requirements into resilient, scalable architectures.
- Use advanced storage and database technologies including Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
- Promote coding excellence, rigorous testing, and precise deployment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of production backend development experience with Python.
- Experience scaling compute- and I/O-intensive applications and handling concurrent requests at scale.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience optimizing large-scale systems for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
- Fintech or financial-sector application development experience is preferred.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
