Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and tools for infrastructure automation and monitoring.
- Support and manage data center infrastructure, including DL servers and network switches.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot VMware environments.
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and operations teams to resolve system issues.
- Monitor system performance and maintain high availability of infrastructure components.
- Document processes, scripts, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Understanding of infrastructure components including servers, network switches, storage, and compute environments.
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, and basic routing.
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and virtualization issues.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, and system monitoring tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4–5 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience in networking and Python-based automation.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools is preferred.
- Exposure to Linux system administration is preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms or hybrid environments is preferred.
- VMware certifications are a plus.
