Responsibilities
- Lead the technical aspects of net-new business opportunities from discovery through close.
- Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, develop technical win strategies, mitigate risks, and progress pipeline.
- Conduct structured discovery focused on customer pain, impact, urgency, ROI, and business outcomes.
- Architect scalable Darktrace solutions across Network, Email, Cloud, Identity, Endpoint, ASM, PEM, and IRR.
- Advise on deployments, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR integrations, as well as SPAN/TAP and API-based visibility.
- Deliver technical demos, proofs of concept, solution designs, and value-driven storytelling to technical and executive audiences.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to resolve blockers and share market feedback.
Requirements
- Experience in cybersecurity or SaaS pre-sales/solutions engineering supporting net-new business.
- Strong knowledge of networking, AWS, Azure, GCP, cloud architectures, and security architectures.
- Experience with SOC tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, or XDR and with hybrid environments.
- Ability to design solutions, run demos and proofs of concept, and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication, consultative selling, and business acumen.
- Fundamental understanding of AI technologies including LLM, ML, and NLP.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant cloud, security, or AI certifications are a plus.
