Responsibilities
- Identify vulnerabilities in Apple platforms using static and dynamic analysis techniques.
- Develop proof-of-concepts for identified vulnerabilities.
- Use fuzzers, LLMs, reverse engineering tools, and custom internal tooling.
- Develop new vulnerability research tools as needed.
- Present research findings in a useful and accessible way.
- Perform reverse engineering and vulnerability research on iOS applications, userland components, kernels, and system-level software.
Requirements
- Experience in vulnerability research, offensive security, and reverse engineering on Apple platforms.
- Experience developing tools and proof-of-concepts in a modern programming language such as Python or Rust.
- Debugging and low-level programming experience with languages such as C, Swift, C++, or Objective-C.
- Ability to reverse engineer ARM64 binaries using tools such as IDA, Binary Ninja, and Frida.
- Desirable experience with Apple platform runtime internals, platform security features, exploit mitigations, XPC protocols, private frameworks, userland system daemons, XNU, or IOKit.
- Interest in learning new technologies and investigating complex technical problems.
