Base Salary
$150k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments of embedded systems, hardware designs, and software integrations.
- Build tooling and frameworks that support secure design and development of complex hardware systems.
- Design and implement technical solutions to mitigate security risks with cross-functional teams.
- Protect embedded systems from common attacks and reverse engineering.
- Identify hardware security weaknesses and insecure design patterns across the product stack.
- Promote security and user privacy across the company.
Requirements
- Experience in several embedded-system security domains, including hardware reverse engineering, firmware security, security architecture and design, electrical engineering and design, microcontroller security, and cryptography.
- Strong electrical engineering skills and the ability to reverse engineer hardware interfaces, communication protocols, and embedded systems.
- A solid foundation in software security and low-level security, including C/C++ and compilers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent years of experience in a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in application security, hardware security, or a related security role.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and help others.
