Base Salary
$170k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI-native frontend interfaces, including agent chat surfaces, ambient-agent review experiences, complex entity-structure diagrams, and projection views.
- Own frontend architecture, including component patterns, Apollo cache, state management, performance, and shared primitives.
- Partner daily with product designers and the Head of Design on product decisions and interaction details.
- Improve product quality through polished empty states, loading behavior, keyboard paths, animation performance, and responsiveness.
- Work with customers and internal subject-matter experts to understand outcomes and pain points.
- Use sufficient backend experience to shape the APIs consumed by the frontend.
Requirements
- Four or more years of software engineering experience, primarily in frontend work, at companies with strong engineering practices.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Apollo, and Playwright, although curiosity can substitute for experience with specific tools.
- Strong frontend skills in either visual craft and interaction detail or component systems and data flow.
- High attention to quality, performance, animation behavior, and product polish.
- Interest in learning trusts and transfer tax concepts.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in a distributed team.
- Experience with PostHog, Sentry, or Meticulous is relevant to the team's development and debugging workflow.
