Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize backend logic for strategy and personalization engines.
- Develop high-throughput data-processing endpoints for tailored, real-time user experiences.
- Implement user-behavior-driven strategies and track feature and algorithm performance with Data Analysts and Product Managers.
- Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and QA squads to connect user-facing features with backend infrastructure.
- Maintain code quality, advocate for engineering best practices, and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional backend software development experience with recent production experience in Golang.
- Experience building data-driven backend systems, user profiling architectures, event-tracking platforms, or user-behavior-driven applications.
- Preferred experience with recommendation systems, personalization engines, or A/B testing frameworks.
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, relational and NoSQL databases, and message brokers such as Kafka.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, product-centric environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
