Base Salary
$152k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale backend software for distributed AI infrastructure and high-performance computing workloads.
- Design, develop, and optimize Kubernetes-orchestrated microservices supporting large-scale AI training workflows.
- Implement APIs integrating cloud services with NVIDIA resilience, telemetry, break/fix automation, checkpointing, and execution systems.
- Build submission abstractions for long-running training jobs, including lifecycle management, automatic restarts, failure handling, and user notifications.
- Create modular services that can be coordinated with and deployed on on-premises NVIDIA AI clusters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on backend development experience, preferably with Python, Go, C, C++, or similar high-performance languages.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Slurm.
- Preferred experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Ray, framework plugin architectures, cluster schedulers, NVIDIA GPUs, network technologies, AI models, and AI-based tools.

- Base salary ranges from 152,000 USD to 241,500 USD for Level 3 and from 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD for Level 4.
