Responsibilities
- Contribute to development of an IoT platform spanning edge to cloud.
- Develop, test, and integrate applications with PaaS services for web and mobile platforms.
- Design scalable and distributed SaaS architectures for IoT solutions.
- Design NoSQL and relational database models, indexes, cloud infrastructure, and data streaming integrations.
- Develop APIs and integrate applications through public APIs.
- Conduct threat-modeling exercises for new applications and services.
- Design IAM technologies and services and address security architecture, threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of hands-on experience building scalable enterprise solutions or products on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience designing scalable and distributed SaaS-based IoT platform architectures and building IoT applications.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure services, APIs, databases, and at least one data streaming platform such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pulsar.
- Professional experience with .NET, Golang, or Python, plus familiarity with React or Angular for rich UI applications.
- Documented experience and strong working knowledge of threat-modeling methodologies.
- Broad experience across enterprise security architecture, compute, storage, networking, virtualization, data centers, API integration, orchestration, resiliency, DevOps, and service delivery.
- Direct experience designing IAM technologies and services.
- Experience with general-purpose programming languages including Java, C/C++, Python, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, operational risk management, architectural requirements, threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
- Hands-on engineering or architecture experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Power, Energy, Industrial, or Rail systems is preferred.
- Experience building AI applications using RAG architectures is preferred.
