Base Salary
$174k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver software on schedule with accurate estimates.
- Own production changes, including monitoring and maintaining runbooks.
- Conduct high-quality code reviews and improve engineering standards.
- Design scalable, resilient, and high-performance trading platform architecture.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical direction.
- Serve as a technical expert for trading systems for internal teams and external partners.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Solve complex engineering challenges, particularly involving code generation frameworks.
- Mentor and help unblock other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of development experience with compiled, object-oriented languages such as TypeScript, C#, or Java.
- At least 2 years of experience with dynamic scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
- Experience with real-time data processing and event-driven systems such as WebSockets and Kafka.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing production deployments.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and proficiency with Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Experience in private markets or financial services, especially financial market data.
- Strong collaboration skills and a track record of delivery in high-performance engineering environments.
