Base Salary
$171k - $273k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and drive strategic initiatives for scalable full-stack web services supporting real-time and offline fleet data flows.
- Design, develop, and deploy modern frontend applications, backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and data pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams by guiding architecture, engineering practices, roadmaps, and complex projects.
- Mentor senior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical growth.
- Build operator-facing tools and APIs that translate operational data and autonomy metrics into actionable insights.
- Partner with autonomy, cloud infrastructure, and operations leaders to define priorities and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of industry software development experience designing, building, and operating large-scale full-stack systems.
- Deep expertise in front-end and back-end development, scalable web services, distributed systems, and modern API design.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in strategy, architecture, and mentoring senior engineers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and presenting technical solutions.
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, including AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and monitoring or alerting systems.
- Preferred experience defining multi-team technical roadmaps and strategic projects.
- Preferred experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, real-time distributed fleet systems, data modeling, data pipelines, or third-party data integration.
