Base Salary
$179k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead adoption and responsible use of AI and automation to improve cloud platform scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions and define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams, establish design and operational standards, and influence long-term technology strategy.
- Lead technical strategy for cloud initiatives and mentor developers building scalable cloud platforms.
- Identify improvement opportunities and support well-managed production cloud environments.
- Integrate cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, audits, risk awareness, and change management into engineering work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of cloud engineering experience.
- Preferred: 6+ years of coding experience with Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Preferred: 3+ years with public cloud platforms, CI/CD orchestration, infrastructure-as-code frameworks, and automated governance using policy-as-code DSLs.
- Preferred: active certification related to cloud infrastructure management or security.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native patterns, cloud networking, security and identity integrations, production troubleshooting, AI-driven cloud operations, and large-scale technical initiatives.
