Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot baseband software issues at the RAN level using logs, traces, KPIs, and radio performance data.
  • Investigate problems holistically across radio conditions, network configurations, feature combinations, and customer use cases.
  • Work with system designers and developers to identify root causes and define fixes or design improvements.
  • Contribute to the systemization and design of 5G/NR and LTE features from performance and robustness perspectives.
  • Drive or support automation and data analytics for issue detection, analysis, and prevention.
  • Collaborate with customer teams to reproduce and resolve high-visibility network problems.
  • Document findings and share methods, tools, and best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong end-to-end troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex technical issues.
  • Solid knowledge of 5G/NR and/or LTE RAN architecture, protocols, scheduling, and radio performance.
  • System, design, or test experience with 5G and/or LTE, including feature development, performance verification, or integration.
  • Practical experience with baseband software architecture or programming and the ability to reason about software behavior.
  • Ability to use or quickly adapt to log and trace tools, KPI dashboards, and radio performance tools.
  • Good English communication skills and the ability to explain complex findings to varied stakeholders.
