Base Salary

$155k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide intraday desk-facing coverage for Credit Repo, Credit Exotics, and Genesis-based trading workflows.
  • Triage, investigate, and resolve production issues across trading, booking, pricing, risk, margin, workflow, and reporting tools.
  • Own incident follow-through through permanent remediation, including code changes, monitoring improvements, regression tests, and documentation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain software across UI, service, data, and integration layers.
  • Improve system stability, resilience, performance, automated testing, monitoring, alerting, and release validation.
  • Deliver enhancements for Credit Repo, Exotics, TRS, and PB workflows, including trade booking, position visibility, risk/PnL, margin, collateral, settlement, curve/marking, and reporting.
  • Integrate financial models, analytics, and risk calculations into scalable trading and risk platforms.
  • Contribute to Genesis workflow expansion, APIs, automation, and migration from legacy tooling.
  • Collaborate with traders, structurers, operations, controllers, market risk, strats, production management, and global technology teams.
  • Support on-call rotation, improve runbooks, share knowledge, and help develop junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative or computational discipline.
  • Strong hands-on software development experience in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Scala, C++, C#, or Python.
  • Experience building and supporting medium- to large-scale server-side applications.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, data flows, and production support patterns.
  • Experience across the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex issues under time pressure.
  • Ability to work directly with business users and explain technical topics clearly.
  • Preferred experience in front-office technology, trading tools, risk systems, pricing platforms, financial workflow automation, or Genesis.
  • Preferred knowledge of Fixed Income, Repo, TRS, Structured Notes, CDS, CDS Index, CDS Index Options, CDS Index Tranches, Repacks, or PB.
  • Preferred experience with risk/PnL, margin, collateral, settlement, curve/marking, trade booking, workflow, or reporting systems.
  • Preferred experience improving business-critical applications through refactoring, automated testing, monitoring, performance tuning, and production hygiene.
  • Preferred experience with distributed computing, grid or cloud platforms, service integration, APIs, data-driven workflows, DevOps, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Preferred experience mentoring junior developers or coordinating delivery across a global team.
