Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security strategies for AWS, GCP, and Linux-based systems.
- Design and manage public/private key management and PKI for edge devices.
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, penetration testing, and security-focused code audits.
- Manage security protocols for edge devices and maintain CIS-compliant operating system images for cloud infrastructure and field devices.
- Monitor emerging threats, address zero-day vulnerabilities, and implement security fixes.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and company-wide security awareness training.
- Integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle and promote secure application development practices.
- Lead security incident investigations, remediation, and breach response.
- Collaborate with customers and partners on security posture, requirements, and engineering changes.
- Apply application security testing methodologies and automation.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Golang or Python, scripting, and automation.
- Strong knowledge of encryption protocols, public/private key management, and PKI.
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption practices, and secure coding principles.
- Proven cloud security management experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with security policies and controls for Google Workspace, GitHub, and Jira.
- Familiarity with relevant security compliance standards.
- Strong skills managing security tools and vendor relationships.
- Ability to develop and implement security policies and guidelines.
- Understanding of blockchain principles is a plus.
- Relevant security and cloud platform certifications are highly desirable.
